Everett
Everett is the largest city of Snohomish County, located 25 miles north of Seattle. Everett is connected to Seattle by Interstate 5 and various public transit services at Everett Station, including the Sounder commuter train, Amtrak, and commuter buses. Boeing is the city's largest employer, alongside the U.S. Navy, which has operated Naval Station Everett since 1994. Everett stages several annual festivals and is also home to minor league sports teams, including the Everett Silvertips at Angel of the Winds Arena and Everett Aquasox at Funko Field.

Interesting Places To Visit:
The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens occupies a 3.5-acre lot inside the American Legion Memorial Park. Since 1963, people have referred to this place as the treasure of Snohomish County, and for a good reason. The area offers both education and beauty in equal measure, as it shows you all kinds of pretty flowers and plants. It contains 11 gardens, each following a theme and with a volunteer curator.
The Imagine Children’s Museum is a great place to take kids, where they can learn more about the world through playing. Kids aged 1 to 12 years old will enjoy the various activities at the museum that they can do together with their families. Inside the museum, you’ll receive a guided tour through several exhibits. Likewise, you can buy educational materials, like books and games, at the Playful Learning Store. You can also take your kids to the rooftop playground or the water play area for maximum enjoyment.
Howarth Park is a 28-acre three tier park that allows you to relish the great outdoors by taking a long walk or catching a glimpse of the local wildlife. Howarth Park is also near a beach, where you can talk a stroll or go kayaking. If you have a sailboat, you can anchor there overnight and take shelter from the winds. Likewise, the park’s seawall offers good opportunities to learn how to install climbing gear or build anchors. You can also bring your pup to the dog park on the east beach, allowing leash-free walking.
The Angel of the Winds Arena is the home of the WHL Everett Silvertips hockey team. The arena itself is a multi-purpose complex comprising three venues that sits in the middle of downtown Everett. You can watch all manner of live shows in the arena, such as concerts and performances. There’s also space for indoor football in the complex and the arena hosts trade shows from time to time.
The Grand Avenue Park Bridge is Everett’s recently constructed and newest architectural marvel. When you visit Everett, you'll see the bridge, which extends from the hillside and crosses a railroad and a five-lane highway. At the top of the bridge, you can look out at the sweeping vista of the Everett waterfront. If you go there in the late afternoon, you can catch a marvelous view of the sunset on the bay. The pedestrian bridge is also a viewing platform where you can practice your photography skills on the cityscape.
